Ben Grossman nominated for best Visual Effects Oscar

About 12 years ago Ben Grossman (far left) hired me as the voice of the Fox affiliate in Fairbanks, AK. Shortly  after he left his production manager job and moved to LA. Since then he has worked as visual effects supervisor on films like Alice in Wonderland, Shutter Island, Spiderman and even won an Emmy for outstanding special effects on a mini series in 2006. Most recently he tackled the incredible VFX on Scorsese’s Hugo and is Oscar nominated for Best Visual Effects. Words cannot express how proud I am of Ben. It’s a great testament of what can happen when you follow your dreams. Way to go Brother! See you soon….I’m buying.
